Angela Dugdale has been appointed as regional sales manager for EMEA (excluding Germany and Austria). She has 10 years’ experience in international sales with high-profile consumer brands. Elisabeth Richter has taken on the role of sales manager for Germany and Austria. She joins from Salewa, where she worked for seven years as apparel sales manager for Austria. Both will report to Berghaus’s sales director for EMEA, Simon Roberts.
Berghaus is also increasing its focus on marketing in the region, boosting the team based in Munich with two new roles. Dana Eichinger has been appointed as EMEA marketing manager, reporting to EMEA head of marketing, Caroline Smith. She will be supported by new EMEA marketing executive Sarah Schlangenotto, who studied sport management in Paderborn and will move to Munich from the Berghaus international marketing team in Sunderland, where she has worked for the last year.
Richard Leedham, Berghaus vice president for EMEA, said on announcing the appointment: “Berghaus has enjoyed significant growth in Europe during the last 12 months, but there is potential for a lot more. Opening the office and showroom in Munich was an important milestone, and these appointments represent another key development. Berghaus has ambitious targets across Europe and with this team on board, I think we’re going to have an exciting and successful adventure.”
