Good year for Franklin & Marshall

16/12/2011
College lifestyle and sportswear brand Franklin & Marshall has reported “excellent results in a particularly difficult year”.

The Verona-based company has ended 2011 with a turnover of EUR 47 million, representing year-on-year growth of 16.3%. It said it was particularly pleased with growth of 65.8% in Belgium, of 56.7% in Spain and of 21.3% in France. It is predicting further growth of between 10% and 20% in 2012, with new own-brand stores opening in Europe and the Middle East.

Company director Giuseppe Albarelli said he thought the results reflected well on Franklin & Marshall’s strategy of making 95% of its products, which include polo shirts, fleece tops and outdoor jackets, in Italy.
