Chinese sports brand Peak Sport Products has opened its first store in the US and is planning a second.

Media in China said that Peak successfully inaugurated an own-brand store in the Westfield Shopping Mall in Los Angeles in mid-December.

Peak said it hoped the exercise would help it promote its sports shoes to US consumers and help it understand what US consumers are looking for and the differences between their tastes and those of Chinese consumers.
