EOCA launches goody bag project at ispo 2012

12/01/2012
The European Outdoor Conservation Association (EOCA) has invited visitors to the ispo 2012 exhibition in Munich (January 29–February 1) to donate to its conservation initiatives by buying a goody bag from the EOCA stand and use it to collect gifts from participating outdoor brands throughout the exhibition.

EOCA has said that a standard goody bag, which costs EUR20, will entitle visitors to collect gifts with a value of EUR140, while a deluxe version costing EUR75 will give them access to goodies worth at least EUR350.

Items on offer include neck-warmers, hydration bladders, socks, walking boots and poles, duffle bags, wash kits and thermal mugs. Every goody bag gives its owner the opportunity to win a Bergans rucksack as well.

The association raises money to donate to grassroots conservation groups. It is funded by membership and other fundraising activities in the outdoor industry and 100% of membership fees go to the support of projects. Membership is open to anyone that can demonstrate an involvement in the outdoor industry.
