Three new ski mountaineering products from CAMP

Specialist Italian outdoor brand CAMP has added to its range of ultra-light ski mountaineering equipment with three new products.

CAMP XLC Nanotech is an innovative 12-point crampon for any kind of ski mountaineering activities and for high-altitude expeditions.
Manufactured in aluminium alloy, with Sandvik Nanoflex reinforcements on the front points that increase durability and strength. Each crampon weighs less than 500 grammes.

There is also a high-performance backpack for ski-mountaineering competitions, the CAMPack Rapid. Two ski carrying systems feature here. There is a padded crampon pocket which cannot be pierced, inner pocket to hold a shovel, and an avalanche-probe holder. Acid green in colour, the pack has a 20-litre capacity and weighs 495 grammes.

Finally, there is the CAMP G Shell+Lite, which is a warm mountaineering and ski glove. A removable fleece inner glove gives extra warmth during the most severe weather. The glove has the waterproof and breathable Hipora membrane from Korean company Kolon, cowhide leather reinforcements between thumb and forefinger, secure grip technology and Neoprene wristband with Velcro. Each glove weighs 180 grammes.
