Israeli apparel manufacturer seals warp-knit deal

Athletic apparel, swimwear and underwear manufacturer Tefron, which has HanesBrands, Reebok and Patagonia among its clients, has secured an exclusive deal with specialist Italian producer Cifra under which it will be able to make warp-knit seamless garments available to customers.

Tefron chief executive, Amit Meridor, said on announcing the deal: "This is a commercial breakthrough. With Cifra's technology, Tefron will be the only player in the world market that offers circular and warp-knit seamless solutions. I believe that the exclusive cooperation with Cifra will be a significant step in the success of both companies."
