Advansa calls on Da Vinci to help re-brand ThermoCool

23/01/2012
Technical fibre and fabric manufacturer Advansa has announced a new marketing approach for its ThermoCool product. The material’s strength is that, with a blend of hollow and solid fibres, it is specifically designed to keep wearers thermo-regulated and dry by rapidly transporting heat and perspiration away from the body.

It is this idea of dual regulation that is at the heart of ThermoCool’s new image, which has a version of Leonardo Da Vinci’s famous Vitruvian Man to illustrate the concept. According to Advansa, its use of the famous image is in keeping with “the idea of balance, nature, well being and technology that enacts the benefits of ‘Duoregulation’ designed to optimise the body’s natural thermal capabilities through smart fibre”.

A blue figure on the new logo represents the cooling performance of the product, while a red version of the Vitruvian Man represents thermobuffering.
