New Arc’teryx products use Polygiene odour control technology

26/01/2012
Canadian outdoor brand Arc’teryx, winner of one of the ispo Innovation Awards for 2012, has incorporated odour-control technology from Swedish company Polygiene into some of its most recent garments.

Polygiene said in the build-up to ispo (Munich January 29–February 1) that its permanent odour control technology featured in some of the baselayer and midlayer clothing that Arc’teryx would have on show at ispo and other shows this winter.

“Polygiene brings effective odour control to our base and insulation layers without the environmental impact associated with other treatments,” said Tom Duguid, director of brand management at Arc’teryx.

Five Arc’Teryx will become Polygiene-treated in the course of 2012. One of the first of these will be the
RHO LT Zip, a lightweight, moisture-wicking baselayer top.
