Ispo continues to grow in 2012
International sports trade show, ispo Munich (29 Jan-1 Feb, 2012), has more exhibitors, more exhibition space, and a new conference program. A total of 2,344 exhibitors from 51 countries will present their latest products and innovations at the event; an increase of about 3% from 2011. Exhibition space has risen by about 2% to more than 102,800 square metres.
Ispo Munich 2012 also features a side event program including conferences and thematic exhibitions. The 2012 show's focus is on future markets and professional marketing concepts for the sporting goods industry. The topics discussed include the growth potential for the sporting goods industry in Brazil at "Forum Brasil", the "Internet as Marketing Platform" and the trend "Healthstyle".
Klaus Dittrich, chairman and CEO of Messe München, said: "This year's ispo Munich will certainly be a success again. The positive development of the exhibitor numbers is not the only reason; to date, even more visitors have registered than in 2011."
