Green chemistry to kick off UTECH Europe 2012

The organisers of the 2012 UTECH Europe conference on polyurethanes, which takes place in Maastricht from April 17–19, have announced that they will dedicate the opening session of the event to green chemistry.

A session comprising 12 papers will cover sustainable manufacturing processes for key polyurethane raw materials from natural and renewable resources. Speakers will be specialists working on several key technologies at research establishments throughout Europe, in the Middle East and in North America.

In all, there will be 11 different sessions at the conference, which runs alongside a polyurethanes exhibition.
