Workboots brand adds Poron protection

Manufacturer of Poron cushioning materials, Rogers Corporation, has announced that protective footwear brand Justin Original Workboots has incorporated its XRD impact protection technology into two new work boot designs for spring 2012.

The new boots, the WK630-Lace-R WK and 4630-Pull On are constructed with a new, flexible impact-absorbing Poron XRD M-Guard that provides impact protection along the instep of the boot. The M-Guard also helps the work boots pass the ASTM F2413-11 met-guard standard for impact protection.

“We developed these work boots with the most technologically-advanced materials to exceed the required safety standards without foregoing exceptional comfort,” said, Brandon Barker, Justin Original Workboots brand manager. “The Poron XRD M-Guard has allowed us to develop flexible, low-profile designs, which make our safety boots comfortable for the wearer without sacrificing dependable and consistent impact protection.”
