DyStar announces plant closure in Indonesia

22/02/2012
Dyes and chemicals manufacturer DyStar announced in mid-February that it will close its plant at Cilegon in Indonesia. Production there will cease at the end of March.

The Cilegon plant currently produces reactive dyes and supplies customers in the domestic and export markets. The company said it will transfer production of the affected products to other plants in Asia and will ensure that there is no disruption to the supply chain for its customers.

Affected employees will be compensated fairly, DyStar said.
