German sportswear brand adidas has released limited edition St. Patrick’s Day-themed Jeremy Lin t-shirts in the US in early March. The green top is emblazoned with the New York Knicks point guard's squad number and a shamrock on the front and an Irish-inspired last name ‘O’Lin’on the back.

According to a store representative in New York City, the limited edition garment gives Lin fans who do not want to celebrate the March 17 holiday in either blue, orange or white - colours of the Knicks' team logo and home jersey - another wardrobe choice.

Mr Lin, the first American-born NBA player of Taiwanese descent, took the world by storm in February when his performances helped the Knicks record their longest seven-game winning streak of the season.
