Baffin CEO tries out clothing range on family trek

More famous for boots and other footwear, Baffin launched a clothing range that includes polar parkas at the end of 2011. The chief executive, a veteran of previous treks to the North and South Poles, has said he found that the jackets he bought and wore on those trips, although seemingly top of the range, were simply not breathable enough, so he assembled an apparel team and developed his own.
Part of the reason for the March trip to Baffin Island is that he wants to try out one of the new jackets himself in Arctic conditions.
