Performance Days to add virtual year-round exhibition

Organisers of the Performance Days functional fabrics event, which next takes place in Munich on May 9-10, have announced that they will, in addition, launch a virtual fair called 365 Performance Days in April.

Up-to-date information from Performance Days exhibitors will now be available all year round at a dedicated online event site. Visitors will be able to keep up with product developments, see presentations, ask questions and make comments in this virtual arena as well as order tickets to attend the Munich event and make appointments to meet the companies face to face.

At the upcoming Munich event, the eighth edition of Performance Days, product managers and designers will be able to see the latest trends in functional fabrics for sportswear, workwear, and activewear. The four lead topics will be fabrics, trends, technologies and sustainability.

A new attraction will be a device called the Performance Gate, a three-dimensional gate manufactured from textiles, which will use various multimedia tools to present innovations in functional fabrics to visitors.
