US professional tennis player Venus Williams will be relaunching her sports and leisure wear line ‘EleVen’ at the Sony Ericsson Open tennis tournament, which began in Miami on March 21, 2012.

The label EleVen was originally created by Ms Venus for retailer Steve & Barry’s, which went bankrupt in 2008. The tennis player has a degree in fashion design from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale.

The new EleVen range, inspired by Ms Venus’ own style, will have a colour-filled athletic range consisting of tops, bottoms, dresses and crop-top style bras.

The men’s range will include shorts and T-shirts.

While most of the collection has been made from polyester and spandex jersey, there are also some V-neck T-shirts stitched from 100% jersey.
