Ethiopia’s government has said it plans to develop 46 new textile industry projects across the country by 2015 to increase revenue from textiles to $2.5 billion.
Reports say the projects will include cotton ginning facilities, spinning mills, and knitting and weaving factories, and that there will be heavy investment in textiles machinery.
