ASICS to open new flagship store in London

According to ASICS, the in-store running laboratory will make high-level biomechanical analysis technology available to the general consumer for the first time in the UK. There will be tests to measure foot shape, leg alignment, body composition, muscle strength and aerobic fitness.
The store will provide “advanced technological services” and professional advice for runners, the company said on announcing the development, as well as offering an extensive collection of footwear and apparel on three floors covering 650 square-metres of retail space.
As well as running shoes and gear, there will be ranges for rugby, tennis, cricket, hockey and netball.
