Entries still welcome for 2012 OutDoor Industry Awards

The OutDoor exhibition in Friedrichshafen will open its doors on July 12 this year. On the same night, this year’s OutDoor Industry Award winners will take a bow at a special ceremony on the exhibition site.

Event organisers have issued a reminder that they will accept entries until June 7.
Manufacturers and designers can enter products in eight categories: apparel, helmets and shoes; backpacks and travel luggage; mountain-climbing equipment; camping equipment; sleeping bags; accessories; products of high ecological and sustainable value; and material innovations.

The competition, hosted by Messe Friedrichshafen and organised by design forum iF, is taking place for the seventh time this year. Interested companies can register to take part at www.ifdesign.de.
