Keynote speakers named for world conference

Keynote presentations will include a talk from Dr Dieter Eichinger, general manger of the textile fibres business unit at Lenzing, on his company’s vision of how what the market for cellulose fibres will look like in 2020.
Dr Peter Dinsdale, who recently retired from the role of principal industry specialist for textiles at the World Bank, will also give a keynote address, and, in addition, the opening section of the conference will include an interview with prominent fashion footwear designer Jimmy Choo.
The remainder of the programme will be made up of parallel sessions, with technical textiles, sustainability, dyeing, apparel manufacture, smart fabrics and personal protective equipment all among the subjects covered.
