Bangkok-based poIyester fibre and raw materials manufacturer Indorama Ventures has resumed operations at its polyethylene terephthalate (PET) plant in the Thai town of Lopburi.

Production at the Lopburi plant stopped last year as a result of the serious flooding that affected the region. Indorama said it intends to ramp up production and have the facility fully operational again in May.

The Lopburi facility has a production capacity of 178,000 tonnes per annum.
