Wages up by more than 20% for Chinese migrant workers

The bureau said that the number of migrants from rural areas working in factories in Chinese cities is still going up, but that the percentage working in the most developed economic regions in the east and south of China had gone down by 1.5% to 65.4% of the total of more than 250 million.
Their average age is higher, at 36, and the national bureau of statistics said this was an indication that manufacturers can no longer argue that China has an “unlimited labour supply”.
