Performance Days seminars broadcast on the web

Two of the talks given by experts during the opening session of Performance Days in Munich on May 9 were broadcast live around the world over the internet thanks to the event’s new virtual exhibition partner 365 Performance Days.

Online visitors had access to a talk on colours and trends for sports fabrics for the autumn-winter 2013-2014 season from Nora Kühner, secretary general of the IDEAS Active Sports Design Network.

Later, a presentation from Dr Anja Gerhardts from the Hohenstein Institute on the performance of antimicrobial textiles during sports activity was made available to the same online audience, as well as to visitors to the event in Munich. Dr Gerhardts talked about tests for antimicrobial efficiency, the kinetics of antimicrobial activity, the performance of different antimicrobial treatments and their safety.
