ACIMIT to bring 117 exhibitors to ITMA
According to the Association of Italian Textile Machinery Manufacturers (ACIMIT), Italian textile machinery manufacturers will attend ITMA ASIA and CITME.
Manufacturers of spinning, weaving, knitwear and finishing machinery will attend the Shanghai show from across Italy.
"China is our top market in the world", commented
Sandro Salmoiraghi, ACIMIT president. "In 2011, we sold €450 million worth
of textile machinery to Chinese companies, or 25% of our export business."
Mr Salmoiraghi added: "The demand from Chinese companies is increasingly
more sophisticated. In China, our customers need a qualitative upgrade in the
machinery they use.
"Efficiency, cost reduction and environmental sustainability are issues which come up time and again in negotiations for machinery sales in China."
The show runs from June 12-16 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre.
