Textile industry technology provider Lectra has released its Kaledo textile design suite, designed to help fabric producers to create fresh and innovative prints, knits, and wovens.
According to the French company, Kaledo’s enhanced yarn shading options give designers control over individual colours in any yarn, allowing them to develop extremely realistic yarn and fabric simulations.

Designers are also able to share information more easily and this data can be saved for future use.

The new version has also added new features to its technical reports capabilities, allowing designers to update fabric specifications automatically.
