New Israel subsidiary for Puma
Germany-based sportswear brand Puma has established a fully owned subsidiary in Israel.
The company’s current distributor in Israel, Grundman Sports, will continue to operate the business until December 31 and the new subsidiary will begin operations on January 1.
Puma hopes to expand sales in Israel by taking over the
operations itself. It plans to open new stores in “strategic locations”
throughout 2013 as part of its five-year growth strategy.
Guy Daneman has been appointed general manager of the Israel business with
immediate effect. His previous role was sales manager at Nike EMEA.
