Free webinar on apparel sourcing in Bangladesh

Manufacturing sector campaign group WRAP (Worldwide Responsibility and Production) and the US Association of Importers of Textiles & Apparel (USA-ITA) have announced that they will host a web seminar on the challenges and solutions for sourcing clothing in Bangladesh. The event will take place on June 5 at 2.00 pm Washington DC-time.
 
WRAP chief executive, Avedis Seferian, will speak about his experiences of visiting clothing manufacturers in Bangladesh, highlighting sourcing and compliance challenges and opportunities there.

WRAP has an office in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and regularly conducts training courses for clothing companies.
 
USA-ITA president, Julia Hughes, and its Washington Counsel, David Spooner, will also take part and will provide an update on the status of duty-free benefits in Bangladesh. The webinar will conclude with a question-and-answer session.

The event is free of charge and all people have to do to take part is register online.
