Polartec to provide layering system to Vibram trail running team

Performance fabric manufacturer Polartec has been named as the technical apparel provider for the 2012 trail running team that specialist outdoor footwear sole manufacturer Vibram has put together.

Six athletes, three from France and three from Italy, make up the team. They will take part in the Lavaredo Ultra Trail delle Dolomiti in June, the 2012 Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc in August and September, and the Trail des Templiers in Millau in October.

The athletes are Nicola Bassi, Francesca Canepe, Giusseppe Marazzi, Sebastien Nain, Roman Moalic and David Gatti. Each will have a full Polartec layering system made up of: Polartec Power Dry, Polartec Power Dry High Efficiency and Polartec NeoShell garments to wear during the events.
