Xcel Brands has signed an exclusive licensing agreement with The Jump Apparel Group allowing Jump to manufacture and distribute sportswear under the Isaac Mizrahi New York brand.

Robert D'Loren, chairman and chief executive officer, Xcel Brands, Inc. said, "I am very excited to partner with [Jump founder] Glenn Schlossberg and the Jump Apparel team to launch our spring 2013 sportswear collection. This license is a cornerstone of our directive and instrumental to our domestic and international growth."

Isaac Mizrahi launched his first collection in 1987 and the apparel brand was acquired by Xcel in 2011.

US-based Jump manufactures sportswear and ladies dresses, producing more than six million garments per year.
