Jack Wolfskin appoints technical textiles specialist to senior position

Former Sympatex, Toray and CF Ploucquet executive Daniele Grasso has joined the development team at outdoor clothing brand Jack Wolfskin. As senior product manager for apparel shells, he will be responsible for the brand’s weather-protection department.

Jack Wolfskin said it was confident Mr Grasso’s extensive experience of technical textiles would help it make advances with its proprietary Texapore technology.
 
Most recently, Daniele Grasso was the director of apparel at functional textiles manufacturer Sympatex. Prior to this, he was European sales manager at Toray and area sales manager for C.F. Ploucquet.
 
“We’re delighted to have such a well-known specialist in functional weather-protection gear on board,” said chief operating officer, Christian Brandt, on announcing the appointment. “He is a fine addition to our apparel product management team.”
