Outdoor clothing and footwear brand Timberland has appointed Timo Schmidt-Eisenhart vice president and general manager for Timberland Europe.

Mr Schmidt-Eisenhart joins the company from outdoor sports apparel brand The North Face (TNF), where he has served as general manager for Europe over the last five years. Before that he was European sales director at TNF.

Prior to joining TNF, Schmidt-Eisenhart spent eight years with Nike, where he held several senior product and commercial roles.

Arne Arens replaces Mr Schmidt-Eisenhart at TNF. He was previously vice president of sales EMEA.
