Brand power the subject of new Concept III seminar

28/06/2012
Seminars run by textile resource and garment production service Concept III in parallel with the Outdoor Retailer exhibition in Salt Lake City have become an established attraction for visitors and exhibitors. The upcoming Outdoor Retailer Summer Market 2012, which takes place in August, will be no exception.

A seminar on brand power and on the possibilities for product differentiation that textiles can offer will take place on the first morning of the show, Thursday, August 2, between 9.00 and 10.00 in the Deer Valley Salon of the Salt Lake City Marriot Downtown, across the street from the exhibition centre.

Speakers will include David Parkes, Concept III’s founder and chief executive, who will highlight textile and design trends. Dr Andreas Schmidt, director of function and care at the Hohenstein Institute in Germany, will also be on the panel again; he will talk about the research and advances in science that can set a brand apart.

Dr Sam Moore, an associate professor at North Carolina State University, will address the subject of environmental responsibility, and Swedish consultant Dr Mats Georgson will discuss in depth the art of branding itself.

Places at the seminar are free but space is limited. People interested in attending should send a message to info@conceptiii.com as soon as possible.
