Bulwark workwear uses Polartec’s FR technology
Performance fabrics producer Polartec is working with workwear manufacturer Bulwark to produce a flame-resistant (FR) workwear layering system.
Providing permanent flame resistance inherent to the yarn, Polartec FR fabrics do not melt or drip on the skin, regardless of the conditions.
The fabrics are also said to be significantly warmer than traditional FR woven fabrics, while offering breathability, lightweightness and stretch. Joint marketing initiatives including hangtags on each garment will explain the full benefits and advantages of the performance fabrics used in the collection.
The range includes a high visibility FR long sleeve t-shirt made from Polartec Power Dry FR, sweatshirts, fleece and jacket liners made from Polartec Thermal FR, and the FR3 jacket, made from Polartec Power Shield FR.
