Germany-based Trevira has introduced a new fibre that can be used for sportswear and workwear.

Trevira Moisture Control has a special dual channel system that accelerates the transport of condensation molecules from the skin to the outer layer of the fibre. Moisture conducted onto the textile surface is quickly dispersed and evaporates rapidly, so the wearer remains warm and dry.

Other properties of the fibre include good pilling, colourfastness, soft handle, durability and easy care. It has good electro-static properties and is resistant to UV light and chlorine.
