New Balance to use Teijin nanofibre

05/07/2012

Teijin Fibers is to supply its high-strength polyester nanofibre for use in replacement running shoes insoles made by New Balance.

The Nanofront insoles will be marketed by New Balance Japan and sold at its directly owned shops in Tokyo and Osaka, as well as at other sports retail stores across the country.

They offer good slip resistance, helping to prevent the wearer’s foot from sliding backwards and forwards within the shoe. It also offers high moisture absorbency and diffusion for added comfort.

Nanofront is also used in shoelaces and socks made by New Balance Japan.
