Tanatex Chemicals extends textile finishing range

Netherlands-based Tanatex Chemicals has added several new products to its textile finishing range.

Tanafil AC 512 is a spin finish for PA 6 and PA 6.6 greige and dope-dyed bulked continuous filament (BCF) yarns. It offers low fibre/metal friction and provides uniform dyeing. It offers static protection and is highly thermostable as well as protecting the yarn against oxidative yellowing.

Tanafil OC 111 is a spin finish for polypropylene filament and BCF yarns. It provides low fibre/metal friction, static protection and gives a smooth handle and Tanafil OC 1003 is a spin finish for polypropylene filament yarns (BCF and CF) and tapes. It provides low fibre/metal friction, static protection and good yarn cohesion.

Tanasperse OLG-N is a dyeing auxiliary that prevents the formation of oligomer crystals, based on an anionic dispersing system that removes the risk of retardation that is encountered with certain nonionic systems.

Bayscent Acai is the latest addition to the Bayscent Aromawellness range: finishes based on microencapsulated essential oils. The capsules release the essences gradually to ensure maximum effect. Acai is notorious for its antioxidants, containing vitamins A, C and E that boost the body's defence system.

Baygard UFCN imparts durable oil- and water-repellency and maintains a soft hand.

Tanacoat KP is a medium-hard polyester-based urethane to be applied as a basecoat and Tanacoat KS is a little harder than Tanacoat KP and has a dull surface, which makes it suitable for use as dull, flexible topcoat.

Edolan RF is an aqueous polyurethane dispersion for coating and impregnation of textiles and nonwovens. It is a co-solvent-free dispersion with a scratch-resistant, dry surface that offers good slip properties, lightfastness and UV resistance.

Respumit 3301 is an antifoam for aqueous coating pastes and textile printing pastes. Pastes containing Respumit 3301 remain free of foam even after long coating or printing processes. This product is effective in high-viscosity coating pastes and is also suitable for the prevention of foam formation in printing pastes for dyestuff printing.
