Invista takes T279W fibre to India
Invista recently showcased its latest fabric technology
in Patna, India. The company appeared at the sixth Lycra Buyers and Sellers
Meet on July 19, which was organised in collaboration with the Intimate Apparel
Association of India (IAAI).
The fibre producer showcased its latest innovations made
from Lycra fibre with W Technology (Lycra fibre T279W), Lycra Beauty fabrics and its recently
launched, India-specific Narrows line.
Avinash Chandra, marketing head South Asia, said: "The
category of intimate apparel has developed significantly in the last few years
in India and we are committed to help the industry move ahead.
"The Meet has proved to be very beneficial in
understanding the needs of specific region and Invista will continue to
diversify the market and introduce newer and better products with our
understanding of the Indian consumer and technological expertise."
Previous Meets have been held in Mumbai, Chandigarh,
Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and Lucknow.
