Fele introduces skate shoe brand
Fele Holding Corporation, maker of the world’s first GPS
shoe, has launched its new ToVo brand of footwear for skateboarders.
The first ToVo product on the market is 3rd Rail,
featuring an exchangeable tongue, which allows the wearer to mix and match colours.
The shoe’s foam-padded collar offers enhanced cushioning at the ankle, while the
polyurethane midsole and heel airbag unit give the wearer additional support
upon impact, especially when carrying out skateboarding tricks.
The range was designed by Isaac Daniel, CEO of the
Miami-based company. He said: "My son is a skater and his feet and ankles get
pretty banged up all the time, so I decided to create a shoe that would protect
the boarder's feet from all the abuse of die-hard skateboarding.
"I also wanted to give skaters an opportunity to showcase
their individuality and style with the alternate tongue colours."
