New ecommerce strategy at Quiksilver
Quiksilver has chosen the Demandware Commerce platform to
support its global commerce strategy.
The sport lifestyle brand recently launched 10 new websites
in Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the
Netherlands, Spain and the UK using the ecommerce company’s software.
The new sites offer interactive content, displaying more
than 3,000 outdoor and sports products. They use community forums and social
media to keep boardsport enthusiasts up-to-date and connected with athletes,
events and the company’s latest innovations.
Nicolas Foulet, SVP of digital at Quiksilver, said: "Quiksilver
had a very aggressive market expansion strategy and we needed a platform that
would allow us to roll out multiple sites across geographies in a fast,
efficient way.
"Equally important was the ability to create distinct
brand experiences that we can continuously evolve and enhance for our
customers."
