Adidas to outfit Grand Valley State athletes
Grand Valley State University has signed a five-year deal
with Adidas for the school’s 20 NCAA Division II sports programs.
The Germany-based sportswear provider will serve as the
exclusive apparel, uniform and footwear outfitter for Laker athletics. Grand
Valley State and adidas have had a long running, exclusive relationship that
will now run for another five years through to 2017.
Adidas currently partners with more than 70 collegiate
programs, as well as professional leagues such as the NBA, international soccer
teams and numerous professional athletes.
"We’ve been a partner of Grand Valley State’s for over five
years and we’re very excited to continue our relationship,”"said Mark Daniels,
director of football and team sports for adidas America.
"Grand Valley State is one of the best Division II athletic
programs in the country and we look forward to continuing to supply the best in
performance uniforms, footwear and apparel to all 20 Laker teams."
