Certificate of Excellence for Radici Chimica
Radici Chimica was awarded a Certiquality Certificate of
Excellence on July 24, during an official award ceremony held at the RadiciGroup
Chemicals site in Novara.
The
certificate was awarded in recognition of the company’s voluntary commitment to
responsible corporate management and its achievement and successful integration
of three certifications: ISO 9001 for quality, ISO 14001 for the environment
and OHSAS 18001 for occupational health and safety.
Those
in attendance included Giovanni Ceriani, area manager of Certiquality for the
Lombardy region, Franco La Ferla, representative of the Novara Industrialists
Association (AIN), and Sara Paladini, councillor for commerce, trade, tourism
and twin cities relations in the Municipality of Novara.
"The
continual improvement of our business activities is a distinctive feature of
our strategy,” said Stefano Alini, manager of quality, environment and safety.
"Over
the years, we have made a constant effort not only to improve the quality of
our products and services, doing our utmost to deliver maximum customer
satisfaction, but also, and most importantly, to protect the environment and
ensure the health and safety of our workers.
"This
commitment has involved all the people working for Radici Chimica and has not
wavered, even during the 2008 crisis and the current difficult moments; indeed,
quite the opposite.
"We
have invested considerable resources in terms of both financial resources and
time. We are proud of our achievements, which will motivate us to do even
better in the future.”
The RadiciGroup is involved in the production of polyamide 66
