Latest Teijin products to appear at OR
Teijin Fibers will showcase high-comfort, high-performance
polyester products at the Outdoor Retailer Summer Market 2012, held at the Salt
Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, from August 2-5.
Its
booth will feature products that respond to increasing demands for clothing
that functions as both high-performance sportswear and comfortable daily-use,
multipurpose wear.
The Japanese
company’s collection will include its new Anti-sweat Comfort fabric, which offers
enhanced absorption, quick drying and prevention of both chill and stickiness.
Its three-layer structure consists of an inner, fully hydrophobic layer of
moisture-repellent polyester fibres, a middle moisture-absorption layer and an
outer moisture-diffusion layer.
Its Odor-Control
fabric helps to prevent odours and stains that are produced by bacteria. Its
modified polyester polymer provides an intrinsically hydrophobic state for
localized hydrophilic properties and mild acidity on the fibre’s surface. As a
result, the fabric maintains its mildly acidic pH level even when the wearer is
perspiring.
The company’s
Comfort Knit fabric offers softness, durability and snag resistance, as well as
flexibility and ultraviolet protection. It also has excellent wind-blocking
properties due to its dense, flat-knit surface.
