China still growing its textile exports to the US

In the first half of 2012, manufacturers in China exported textile and apparel products with a value of $17.3 billion to the US.

This figure represents growth of 6.9% compared to the same period in 2011.

Textiles accounted for almost $5 billion of the total, while finished apparel exports over the six-month period earned revenues of $12.3 billion, figures that indicate year-on-year growth of 12.1% and 4.9% respectively.
