DAK Americas announces polyester staple fibre price increase

Mexican owned fibre manufacturer DAK Americas has announced an increase in the price of all its polyester staple fibre products. The increase of around $3 per hundredweight will come into effect on September 1, 2012.

“This increase is necessary due to continued upward pressure on the price of raw materials,” the company said on making the announcement.
