Lululemon aims for younger customers

Canada-based yogawear company Lululemon has opened a store in a store in Massachusetts aimed at a younger market – girls aged between six and 14.

Ivivva Athletica's athletic apparel is similar in quality and function to Lululemon's, but is designed to have wider appeal in colour and fit, so the children can wear the designs to school as well as to play sports in.

The showroom, located in Hingham, will also house studios for running fitness, dance and yoga classes.

Showroom manager Mary Noone told local press: “Kids are more active and they’re wearing athletic clothes to school and then right to their activities. They need to go to and from, and not have to change, so it blends seamlessly through their day.”
