Lululemon is sticking with yoga and running

Ms Day made the announcement to analysts on announcing Lululemon’s results for the first half of the year. She said: “I want to be really clear. We aren’t shifting the brand to fashion.”
In the six-month period, the company earned net revenues of $568.3 million, an increase of 42% compared to the same period in 2011. Gross profit for the first two quarters of fiscal 2012 increased 35% to $313.0 million.
The company has plans to open an additional 35 own-brand stores plus two outlets stores in the second half of 2012. It has opened a store in London and a second showroom in Hong Kong.
