Team GB-inspired adidas kits were the best-selling merchandise of the London 2012 Olympics, according to organisers.

It was followed by Wenlock and Mandeville mascots, badges, a bus model, a coin collection, Union flag wristbands and gold medal stamps.

Locog, the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, set a target of raising £86m from merchandise and said it is pleased with sales figures.

Data from the London 2012 megastore in the Olympic Park is still being calculated so official totals have not yet been published.

Adidas was the official sportswear provider of the Games and spent a reported £100 million on the sponsorship.
