Indian partner successfully produces bulk quantities of DyStar dye

Manufacturing partner in India Lonsen Kiri Chemical Industries, a joint venture between Chinese group LongSheng, and Indian group Kiri Industries, has successfully produced in bulk quantities a DyStar product called Levafix Blue CA.

Production took place at Lonsen Kiri Chemical’s site in Gujarat, India. The production and quality control was carried out with DyStar's supervision.

DyStar said on announcing the outcome: “The production of Levafix Blue CA is an important milestone in establishing the manufacturing site of Levafix CA dyes in India. The Levafix CA dyes require complex, multi-step synthesis under high safety standards and conditions.”

The product is a fluoro-triazine (TFT) based reactive dye printing of cotton and other cellulosic textiles.
