Emotions run high at adidas shoe launch

The German brand’s designers worked closely with Rose to develop a shoe moulded specifically for his foot and style of play. The D Rose 3 is a new silhouette with synthetic and nubuck leather, and the upper features a diamond cut-out pattern providing breathability and support.
At the press launch, Rose became emotional after watching a video showing his comeback from injury.
"The D Rose 3 signature collection is special to me because I worked side by side with adidas on everything from materials to fit to colours to make it the best we've done yet," said Rose. "I love the new logo that calls out the most important things to me: my family, basketball and the city of Chicago."
The logo pays homage to his family – with mother Brenda in the centre of the 'rose' and his three brothers, Reggie, Allan and Dwayne, as the petals.
The D Rose signature collection will be available from October 4, ranging from $15 to $80.
