Mectex joins Adler Group

Mectex, a manufacturer of gripper loom-woven, waterproof and breathable plasma-treated fabrics, has become part of the Adler Group, a multinational with 59 factories in 18 countries.

Mectex will continue to be located in Erba, Italy, and its staffing structure, which it says is the basis of its commercial success, will be unchanged.

The tie-up will, “thanks to the mutual synergies, lead to further development of the group”, it said.

It will be showing its autumn/winter 2013/2014 fabrics at Premiere Vision, Paris, from September 19 to 21.
